Numerous challenges were successfully surmounted to achieve the dream of millions of people. The dream turns into reality, and it becomes a marvel in bridge construction. This multipurpose bridge will enrich the lives of people who do not have ease of access to the capital across the Padma River. It will strengthen the country's GDP, stimulate business, attract foreign investors, create jobs, boost tourism, and advance education and health services for the people in the southwest part of Bangladesh. This paper is intended to present an overview of this magnificent project, Padma Multipurpose Bridge, including the backdrop, difficulties, and how it became a reality under the vibrant governance of the Honorable Prime Minister of People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.
