    “LITERATURE REVIEW ON ADVANCEMENT IN DRONE TECHNOLOGY FOR SURVEILLANCE APPLICATIONS”

    Abstract

    This study conducts a comprehensive review of the existing literature on the use of UAVs for surveillance in both indoor and outdoor environments. Initially, we distinguish between High-Altitude(HTA) and Low-Altitude(LTA) UAVs. Following this initial analysis, we compare these two categories and propose active solutions. We suggest that a hybrid system incorporating both copter drones and blimps could be practical, as the strengths and weaknesses of each type complement each other. Such dual systems could provide effective surveillance capabilities. This research is part of a larger project aimed at enhancing the security of an automated port through the deployment of an autonomous surveillance system.
