Abstract
A uniform order block method is formulated using collocation and interpolation techniques with Hermite polynomials as basis function for solving third order initial value problems in ordinary differential equations. The convergence and stability properties of the new method are investigated. The new method is tested on some numerical problems to demonstrate the applicability, accuracy and efficiency of the new method.
